KYC and Client Onboarding Analyst

You will perform know your customer due diligence and client onboarding for regulated financial institutions operating in the UAE, including entities licensed in ADGM and DIFC. The work is exacting and it matters. A file you approve carelessly becomes a regulatory finding eighteen months later, and a file you reject carelessly costs a legitimate client a relationship.

What you will do

  • Conduct customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence on individual and corporate clients.
  • Verify identity documentation, ownership structures and source of funds evidence against the client's policy.
  • Screen against sanctions, politically exposed person and adverse media lists, and investigate and clear or escalate every alert.
  • Prepare onboarding files to audit standard.
  • Maintain case notes that would stand up to a regulatory review.
  • Meet turnaround and quality targets without cutting corners on either.

What you bring

  • At least two years in KYC, AML, client onboarding or a closely related compliance operations role.
  • Understanding of UAE and international AML expectations, including beneficial ownership and PEP concepts.
  • English at C1, Arabic at B2 or above for document review.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the confidence to escalate rather than assume.
  • Experience with screening platforms such as World-Check, LexisNexis or Actimize.

Nice to have

  • ICA or ACAMS certification, or progress toward one.
  • Experience with ADGM or DIFC licensed entities.
  • Corporate onboarding experience with complex ownership structures.
