Senior Full Stack Engineer

What you will do

• Design, build, test and maintain web and API services end to end.
• Take ownership of features from requirement through to production and support, not just through to merge.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and write the design documents that justify them.
• Review code with care and mentor mid and junior engineers on the pod.
• Work directly with client product owners to challenge requirements that will not survive contact with real users.
• Uphold security and data protection standards, including UAE PDPL requirements where personal data is in scope.

What you bring

• At least five years building production software.
• Strong command of TypeScript and modern React or an equivalent frontend framework, plus a server side language such as Node.js, Python, Go, Java or C sharp.
• Solid relational and non-relational data modelling.
• Real experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, containers and CI/CD.
• Testing discipline that goes beyond happy path coverage.
• English at C1 and the ability to explain a technical trade off to a non-technical stakeholder.

Nice to have

• Experience in a regulated environment, particularly financial services.
• Arabic language support in applications, including RTL layout work.
• Event-driven architecture.
• Prior client-facing or consultancy experience.
