What you will do

• Process supplier invoices through to payment, matching against purchase orders and goods receipts and resolving exceptions.
• Maintain supplier master data accurately.
• Perform statement reconciliations and investigate ageing items rather than rolling them forward.
• Support VAT treatment and prepare the payables inputs for corporate tax reporting under the client's direction.
• Prepare payment runs for client approval.
• Respond to supplier queries professionally, because you represent the client to their supply chain.
• Support month end close to agreed deadlines.

What you bring

• At least two years in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT treatment on supplier invoices.
• Strong Excel, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Experience with an ERP such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite or Zoho Books.
• English at C1.
• The instinct to investigate a variance rather than post it to suspense.

Nice to have

• Part-qualified ACCA, CMA or CPA.
• Shared service centre experience.
• Arabic.
• Experience with automated invoice capture tools.
